I still don’t know if they can win in Carolina, but hey a game 7 you never know. Canes will be facing the same pressure. Going to be stressful to us to watch either way lol

Tonight was a huge confidence boosting win and we'll be rolling into Carolina.
I don't know what it is about this series with the home ice. The games are 180 from home and on the road. Can't be the last change, can it? Carolina plays so tight at home and we're so loose but still find a way to score. Chalk it up to the home crowd comfort?

I think I’ve enjoyed this season more than any since ‘94

The SCF year has to much bitterness to it, and those other years we fell short just weren’t like this

Random thoughts:

1) The play of all of our kids. Chytil, LaFreniere, Miller, Schneider --- all really stood out tonite in a positive way! Win or lose Monday, the future is bright and this teams' window is just opening.

2) If I had told you going into game 7 of this series that Shesty would have as many assists as Kreider ( and Kreider isn't hurt ) what kind of odds would you have given me?

3) Nemeth clearly hasn't worked out, the return on Buchnevich was a bit light, but everything else Drury has done in assembling this team has been spot on!

4) The return of Goodrow was huge and he played well, showing little rust.

5) Yes --- Tony D really IS that dumb!

6) Still can't figure out Max Domi. Completely useless and watching him trying to agitate just proves how much of a gutless coward he really is. Does he really believe he is rallying his team while hiding behind the officials?

Fun Fact

Until Panarin scored the PP goal he was tied with Igor with 2 points for this Canes series.
