I gotta say, I would be pretty damn right now mad if I was a Flames fan.

At their defence and goalie?

After a few days to calm down, you see how these failed you and they are the real reason you lost.

But the next day? You're still all over the bad call for sure.

That is so overly dramatic.

Bad calls for you and against you. Good calls for you and against you. Fans are going to whine in any sport.

It's far from overly dramatic it's factual.

The officiating has been terrible league wide this years, wildly inconsistent.

For everyone.

You are taking this to a place my comment was not even remotely close to, I said it was the root of many issues in the league not that it was why any specific team lost or won.

Pretty sure Habs make the playoffs with better officiating.

Sadly, we'll never know.

You should be able to put it in with your skate or you shouldn't be able to. There shouldn't be an inbetweeny that is left up to judgement. It should be a high stick that connects or it should be a high stick above the shoulders. Not which way the ref wants to call it that day. And they should be able to challenge calls. Get it right and get to challenge till you don't.

Thanks for the chuckle - I assume by "better officiating" you mean carte blanche to cross check at will penalty free?

And people wonder why Toronto is considered the centre of the hockey universe

Cant even win a couple series without thinking about the Leafs

Just wish that I could whine about winning a game where the Leafs got a two man advantage with the game tied or down a goal and then to make things right call the Leafs for a penalty at 19:40 of the third to even things up.
