it makes sense for different reasons.
Habs won't be ready to compete before 3 years minimum, Anderson will then be 30.
Habs need to move contracts out, we know how it will be difficult to trade Armia Hoffman.... and the others. Anderson would be a lot easier to move.
we'll see at the draft I guess.

oh I'm not saying it doesn't make any sense, a lot of rumors do. but if the habs want to use Anderson as a complement to Caufield and Suzuki, trading him isn't exactly the best option. it's one thing to make cap space, it's another to move a guy just because you can't move another one...
