yeah for sure, no complaints here
Rangers PK has been dazzling - jimbro83
Nice to see the 2nd unit score last night. Carolina is so aggressive on the pk, they have to keep up the quick passing. Only way to beat them on the pp |

I thought the refs actually have been pretty good this series. A few weird calls against both teams but overall I give them a solid B. - mdw7413
I expected the refs to try to set the tone last night, instead they let them play. |

Rangers really have to beat Carolina at home next game. I think the next game is going to determine who wins the series |

the Rangers first powerplay early in the game was great even though they didn't score, Rangers never gave up control
man, if this team could just win more faceoffs we'd have the puck more
pages and pages and charts and charts of analytic nonsense, it just comes down to winning faceoffs, if you win the faceoff you get the puck, its not as complicated as people love to make it |

They rarely win it, you would think they have a set play were they basically know they will lose so get the wingers in to create pressure. Its cute they still set up like they might win one |

They always believe they can do it. Like a child trying to dress themselves, only to be caught in a trap and immobilized. |

If someone on carolina made that same exact hit on any rangers player i would've said it was an unfortunate play due to the rangers player losing an edge or trying to avoid the hit. even if it resulted in an injury. there shouldnt even be a debate on this one, it's right there for anyone to see |

the offseason will definitely focus on the flaws but in the immediate present time, we don't need all the advanced analysis of every playoff game
Carolina has the puck more because the win the faceoffs, that's all
I really think the analytics people get so sensitive about them because it provides endless amount of data to write and blog about
but that doesn't stop the fact that it's ALWAYS a boring read |

So infuriating! Been harping on this all season.
Losing faceoffs like they do is likely to cost us a game. Fortunately we had the lead last night at the end of the game when losing yet another faceoff after the icing. If the score was tight, the possibility is there that they could have tied the game and we lose (again) in OT. |

I have never seen a player so quick in 2 strides that he pretty much is unstoppable. He goes from 0-100 in a sec |

Copp, Zibby, Goodrow are decent, but it would be nice to have a lock down F/0 guy who could be put out there in those must win situations |

He is unbelievable. Heard a stat last night that Drycycle was actually a point ahead of McDavid. I'm sure that changed last night. |

I was worried about Zibby coming in, I wasnt sure if he would up his game in the playoffs but Im going to say he has been pretty good. He started off slow but he hasnt given up and is going to those dirty areas. Even with his turnovers which I hope he cuts down on, Im pleasantly surprised!! |

Thats the thing, you could probably say he is directly responsible for all his line mates points. Even when he isn't putting up points he opens so much room for his line mates. Looks like they found something putting Kane on that line too. |
