I don't think it's really possible to make the PP any worse, no.

...and as long as the team is fun to watch.

The problem with last season (before Ducharme was canned) was that they were losing horribly and they were so boring to watch.

If you are going to lose, at least put on a show.

- stinger67

ca fait 20 ans qui sont plat a regarder. Domi a fait 70 pts y a quelques années pis tout le monde s'est énervé tellement on n'est pas habitué.

Love Chiarot, but he's not coming back.

We need space on the left side for Guhle, who'll be an absolute beast for us sooner than later.

- Scabeh

yes sir!

Edmundson Romanov and a kid on the left side,
Petry (or his replacement), Savard and a kid on the right side.

I forgot to mention that my hockey team won their 2nd championship in a row (well the last 2 seasons were cancelled but we won 4 years ago as well) last weekend.

So we are, once again, world champions of hockey in the weakest division possible (which is surprisingly strong despite being for "beginners", half the players played in double letters growing up) in Chambly's arena.

The thing is that he's up against Dvorak and Evans. As much as people say it should not dictate where he will play, considering if he's ready or not will be judge in part about how he does at camp vs those 2, no?
- deadpoulet

no. comparing him to these 2 would be putting the team interest first. not the kid's.

they will see at camp if he is ready, not because he is better than Dvorak or Evans, but by judging if he is mature enough both physically and mentally, if the things he has to learn, would it be better for him to learn them in Junior or in the pro...etc.

''Selon Bruce Garrioch de TSN, Pierre Dorion serait tenté d'échanger son choix de premier tour au prochain repêchage (7e au total) pour un joueur qui sera en mesure d'avoir un impact immédiat dans l'équipe. ''

Not sure mtl has something interesting for Ottawa, but there is that.

Anderson? Romanov?

everyone is talking about how it's not a very strong draft, what you're getting at #7 will be even more of a crapshoot than in the top 5

Romanov is a keeper.

Maybe Anderson, but I'm not sure Ottawa would do that.

Well, I did not bother mentionning assets mtl would'nt move. Otherwise, Ott might as well ask for Suzuki or Caufield. The only way I could see something like that happening if things would go south and they had problems signing Romanov back, but I doubt it.

Not long ago, Ott may have ask about Gallagher but he would need to bounce back first. And if he does, mtl may want to keep him anyway.

OTT dont need Suzuki though, they already have 2 very good young centers.
does Gallagher have a NTC?

I don't know if Gallagher has an NTC but with a deal like he has, it's almost an automatic NTC. That cap hit would be hard to move right now. Like I said, he would need to bounce back first. Hopefully for him he won't be stuck with Hoffman and Dauphin next season.

and even then, the habs would need to identify a few players that they really want and that could still be available at that rank... they're already not very physical, can't imagine what they would look like without Anderson in the lineup.

Pretty weak wingers for Wright if he stays with Mtl. Mind you they don't have much options. I would try him out (Wright) with Gallagher or Anderson.
