The team said they wanted him back and St-Louis said he wanted to be back.
Sounds like a formality at this point.
We're not even in june. - Scabeh
I've read a few comments about it not being a certainty, but yeah I'm also convinced it's just a matter of time before it's made official.

I forgot to mention that my hockey team won their 2nd championship in a row (well the last 2 seasons were cancelled but we won 4 years ago as well) last weekend.
So we are, once again, world champions of hockey in the weakest division possible (which is surprisingly strong despite being for "beginners", half the players played in double letters growing up) in Chambly's arena.

No worries, Saint-Louis will be there when season starts…
And if it does not work, it is not end of the world…. We are not talking about Scotty Bowman here too…
I like Marty but he still have to lot to learn and I am still on the bandwagon yet…

Given his performance last year, and his (ongoing) great year this year, you guys think Xhekaj might make the team next year? He's got a nice balance of snarl and offense... And a touch of dirty. (Which I normally don't promote, but lots of successful teams have at least 1 guy who does...) |

so once he does learn what he needs you'll get off the bandwagon..? lol
and yeah I'm not worried at all that he'll be there when next season starts, he may be inexperienced but he does seem to have a way to bring out the best from his players, which is fundamental in becoming a good coach.

We'll see at camp I guess. He'll surely make the Rocket team though. |

Loads to like about him for sure.
But we can afford to take our time with these guys. They can dominate the AHL if they are good enough and then call them up.

I am in favor of stacking Laval as much as possible next year, it should be all about development. Nothing wrong with leaving kids in Jrs when they are 18/19 and for the others to go through a year or two of development in Laval. |

I see him starting in Laval, being called up if he deserves it and maybe finish the year in Montreal…
There is no rush to have him on the team…
But as many, would be great to have him to « deal » with some Boston player who has a big nose!!!

''Selon Bruce Garrioch de TSN, Pierre Dorion serait tenté d'échanger son choix de premier tour au prochain repêchage (7e au total) pour un joueur qui sera en mesure d'avoir un impact immédiat dans l'équipe. ''
Not sure mtl has something interesting for Ottawa, but there is that. |
