Who is Trouba going to legally elbow in the head next?
- Thunderbolt

Elbowing to the head is illegal and would be penalized both on and off the ice with a penalty and a suspension.

Or better yet, are we going to see another swan dive next game. What a wussy he is.

Looking at next year's UFA list makes me think the Pens should just say screw it, burn it down for a year, and take a lottery shot at Bedard. Resign Letang, hope you can get Malkin signed reasonably, keep Jake and Rust and get rid of everyone else.

Then offer Mackinnon $13M per year and hope the Avs cant match.

Mackinnon
Kane
Pastranak
Huberdeau
OReilly
Larkin
Monahan
Tarasenko
Staal
Dumba
JT Miller
Paccioretty
And a whole poopload of other really solid players.

OMG one game!??!? We don't lose Sid we close out the series in Game 5. Stop trolling, dummy.

I don’t think that’s necessarily a true statement. The Rangers just scored when they needed too. Sometimes you have to stop making excuses and just accept they were defeated. The goaltending was bad but the team was up 3-1 and blew 3 leads. It’s just as much the guys playing out as the goaltending.

Sid left that game and the Pens were visibly in disarray.

2 years ago you'd of been saying they weren't going to the net, playing perimeter, Sully sucks, etc... excuses?... This year you can't say any of that and there was a plethora of factors against them and they still dominated the series for the majority of it. I even think if Dumo was healthy, let alone Sid, Jarry or Rak, the Rags wouldn't of scored as many PP goals... PP is basically where they won the series. They couldn't hold a candle to the Pens at even strength .. Except perhaps period one of game one and the 3 mins after Sid left in game 5 game. Pens even had their Vezina and Hart candidate pulled a few times.

Speaking of "insider" info. DK is saying "he's hearing" the Pens will likely bring back the same tending tandem. What a f'n mistake that will be. Bring back the backup who leaves for core muscle surgery two years in a row. Are we seriously going to risk a 3rd year on the lack of good viable NHL backup? Dumb.

I hope so, but I really thought Calgary would do so. Had no clue Markstrom would turn into Matt Murray.

JJ is gonna win a cup lol

Honestly, I know Markstrom had a couple of bad moments, but I thought CGY's defense really went to poop in that series.

Awesome team, but man Nich is gonna regret signing that contract when he sees who he's playing with for the next 2 years.

Speaking of McJesus...

I can't say I've watched all of the Oilers games this playoffs, but McDavid almost has a Mario feel to him right now. Not the same style, but every time he hits the ice you think he's going to score. He's making guys look silly. Not sure I've seen somebody look so far above the competition like this since Mario. Don't know if he keeps it up, but he's incredible.

He has really upped his game all around. I know they said at one point in the Flames series, he was leading both teams in hits...although that could just be from guys getting in his way.

Gretzky is such a snooze fest on TNT. Really liked his interview with Biz and Whit though. I think they should make Hank full time there. Really like him, Biz, Liam, and Toc. He could replace Toc if he goes to be a head coach.

I like this crew, too. Tocchet definitely should go coach, but I like the dynamic between him and Biz.
