I've never once said we should be bargain hunting for a goalie. There's a grand canyon gap between Aaron Dell 750k and 9th OA trade.

I'd they don't get a real goalie then the 2022-23 season will be a complete waste of time. Getting a competent goalie capable of playing 50 games is a must imo

How many 1st round picks do you need over a 2 year span? 9, 16, and 28 this year is pretty good. Odds are at least one of them never sticks as an NHLer. Give me a real goalie any day for one of my three future maybe NHLers I can draft in the 1st round this season.

Carolina has had like 5 goalies play for them in the last 12 months and it didn’t stop them from being one of the best defensive teams in the league.

Unfortunately there is only one Vasilesky, and although you might get a Jake Oettenger moment here or there, the only guy who has been able to consistently steal series is Vasy (and prime Carey Price)

Competent goaltending will get us as far as the rest of this team is able to go, which is probably the brink of the playoffs. Ullmark and goalies of his caliber would do that.

An eighth of the price. And Talbot was good this year.

For a borderline AHL goalie??...I've been told he is borderline with ECHL level tending.

After all, he wasn't drafted in a Fantasy draft.

He’s never had many PP assists, as he’s parked in front of the net taking a beating and tipping pucks in, as evidence by equal number of goals and assists over his career on the PP.

He needed (along with all their stars) to be better to beat an experienced team. Year one in what looks like a four year of being good window, no reason to panic.

Question for you tho, did he have a better game 3 or 4?

And if you don’t want to talk about him anymore, why do you? I’m not saying you can’t, but there are things that I don’t want to talk about. And I don’t.

There are factors outside of hockey (history with the community, mental health issues, etc.) with Price, but if the Canadiens were offered 9OA for him, they would take that and run.
