This series can be summed up by saying that the team that's been there before beat the team that hasn't, and that includes the goaltenders. Experience won this series.

It doesn't happen every series. Pittsburgh losing their best player for Games 6 and 7 didn't help either.

Regardless, even when they were getting shelled, Tampa didn't look panicked. Florida did when things weren't falling for them. They'll learn from it, and will be fine in the future.

If I'm trading 9 for a goaltender under that pretense, I better be a playoff team next year. Gibson is good, but he's not good enough to get this team there, not with this top 6 forward group.
