Johnny Hockey also lead the league in even strength scoring with 90 points, with a whopping 12 points ahead of McJesus in 2nd.
He had a super impressive season. - kingcong39
Yeah, I don't know. Guy is coming on here to pull everyone's chain. JG would be very interesting to watch with the talent he would be playing with here. |

Jonny Hockey is clearly a good player who would be a ppg on Buffalo. The fact he's not a pimple on the ass of McDavid or Leon is not a knock. No one in the league is right now. |

Little Johnny is a good player and probably would be a ppg player with Buffalo. Still paying him big bucks on a long term deal would be far too risky. He could be Skinner2. This team needs grit so bringing in some sheep with wolves clothing might hurt in more ways than one.
Id rather see KA sign Kadri long term or Malkin short term.
By the way my Uncle Rsh advised me it's never a good idea to pull chains when you don't know what's on the other end. |

Do you want to pay Kadri $8M per for 7 years? I sure don't.
If he would take $7M per for 3 years, maybe. |

He scored more even strength points then anybody in the entire league, by a lot, and was a plus 64.
He had a better season then Leon in many ways.
Just for this past season, he was a top 3 player in the league. |

The guy had a fantastic season, 90pts at even strength is pretty wild. |

McJesus and Kucherov wouldn't be good additions either I guess.

Sure is, and to score 12 more than McJesus is impressive. Also, 22 more than Leon, as both Leon and McJesus loaded up on the power play. |

I deny none of this, but I just saw his line try and play againt thier line for a couple of those 5 games. His line got caved in every time they were on the ice together. Jesus and Leon went to a new level in this playoffs.
Edit: and i would most definitely pay Jonny Hockey to play in Buffalo. |

Guess, the contract is a worry but he's a fabulous talent that should be looked into if he hits FA |

Starting to run into a few injuries, though. Hoping that doesn't hurt them. But their pitching has been incredible. Cortes gon' get paid. |

Seeing as he’s “free”, won’t cost assets, I’m game. What is his contract projection? It will be more than $750k which will probably need Presidential approval. Would he sign for $1,750,000 per? Maybe the President won’t notice the 1 and sign off on the contract. |

Decent read, pretty much take what you want from it. Looking forward to watching Cozens mature and grow into the monster I think he becomes. - Buff36
Was just about to post the link to this story !
What’s interesting is that Cozens has been on the wing the entire tournament, but he’s been great in the games I’ve been able to watch. |

Article says
3.5
3 or 4 years
But it's probably a little low

That will not be signed off on by the president… better find a more economical solution. |

That contract value has Buyer Beware flashing all over it for me.
He simply doesn't have the history to dictate that price for that term, IMO.
