Okposo will be 35-1/2 at the start of the '23-24 season. It is a young man's game. He played awesome this past season, and the Sabres carried him and his fat contract for many years. The Org owes him nothing but best wishes.

Girg's is a 4th liner who will be broaching 30 himself. They should trade him next TDL to a contender, give him a chance to taste victory. He is now injury prone and I doubt he gets more durable.

Gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em.
Bring in a couple more solid character guys to fill the leadership void and will be with the team for 4 or 5 more seasons.

I've mentioned pk88, buy realistically were looking at trading a risto type 2nd rounder for a rental with no contract moving forward.
