Cozens has played 120 NHL games on one of the worst teams in the league, a healthy portion of it with fringe NHL players.

If they trade him, it will be a mistake.

Mitts is the guy I trade if I’m looking for a legit top 6 Center.

I’ll agree to disagree.

I like Mittelstadt as a middle 6 forward, but I don’t think he has the ceiling that Cozens or even Krebs have if they get there.

Cozens is untouchable for me but Mitts and the VGK/FLA first for a 200 foot top 6 Center is definitely something that should be looked into

if he is in their plans, they can give him the one way contract and sit him in the presser if needed

if he is in their plans, r2d2 in the presser is better then r2d2 in europe

Don't think that has to be the case. There's an explanation in there for Quinn and JJ that while a spot to R2 might make sense for him in the bottom 6, we don't see either of you really there long term, and would rather you continue to grow playing top line minutes for the future. He will be 25, and they will both be 21 next year. There is a difference and an explanation, if the Sabres want to go this route.
