Takes us back to the abysmal record of the Sabres Medical Staff.
Wonder how that analysis is going. - IonSabres
Strange, as the Bill's players seem like they are in good hands with the medical staff.
Sabres need to upgrade.
I'd be curious to hear what happened with olofsson's wrist injury. Who said what? In regards to playing? |

I thought he took a nice jump once his wrist returned to form. He got better off the puck and seemed to become a better playmaker while injured

Yes, definitely.
Maybe not having that killer go to shot, helped develop the rest of his game?
I really think he's very underrated IMO.
He's more than a pp specialist and proved it recently.
R2 playing so well makes me worry about olofsson's spot a bit. The organization has to sign r2 right?
Only so many softer, smaller , goal scoring spots available on this team if were gonna be a playoff team. |

I could care less who is the best player right now.
Whos going to be the best player in 3 -5 years when all these guys are playing. That's who I want. - DirtyDan
that's good, cause kevyn said the same thing.

Glad he feels secure in his job. Tough too draft guys 3-5 years out after finishing 32nd and 23rd your first 2 years.
I've been told he needs to win or get fired.
It's like drafting a goalie high. GM might not be around to see him actually play and win games.

My honors thesis at UB was a freudian analysis of the role of humor in the humorless automaton (Data) LOL. I hope I have a copy of that somewhere - Hank Balling
That's fantastic. Good god I wrote about Fujian Province in China, how many missiles they had pointed at Taiwan, and the legal fiction we call our One China policy at the time.
I'll bet you had fun writing yours. Mine was tedious crap. If I had it to do over science fiction and fantasy literature concentration in an English literature degree would be the way.

My 3 choices at each pick. Since you gotta have backup plans.
9. Lekkrmakii / Gauthier / Nazar
16. Rutger / Mesar / Mintyukov
28. Luneau / Miro / Howard
If we were to take Lekker at 9 I'd want Rutger for size. Opposite if we go Gauthier at 9 take Mesar for speed and skill
If we keep 28 i'd pick Luneau since we need RHD. But would not be opposed to Miro for his upside if he recovers. Howard at 28 I don't mind either. - DirtyDan

I'm good with the progress Adams has made with respect to Drafting as supported by the overhaul of the Scouting Dept and the reported buildout of the Analytics Dept.
I think that lends itself to improved Draft results as well as Player accquisitions going forward. |

I still absolutely want to go back to Asplund - Mitts - Vic as the third line. They were playing excellent hockey before the last 9 game line shakeup happened.
Tuch - Tage - Skinner
Cozens - Krebs - Quinn
Asplund - Mitts - Vic
Okposo - R2/Peterka - Z train
Real goalie
Subban
And this is without acquiring a top 6 forward, which I would love them to do. I'll be happy with whatever lines Meatballs comes out with though. He's shown a good touch. I could see double shifting Asplund to the 4th line as well if he's able to lock down top players or just playing the 3rd line more ice time. |
