I’m not so sure Kasper lasts till 16 but I could be wrong. - Pegullaville
He's seems to be on the radar for teams. Big boy who uses his size. His offensive upside bothers me. |

Sounds like what a lot of people said about Lundell prior to his draft.
Not saying that he has the same offensive upside as Lundell, but you don’t get meaningful minutes on the best team in the SHL by accident. |

Copp's predicted deal is 4 years at $5.8M per.
Hardly unaffordable.
Ilya Mikheyev interest anyone as a UFA target? 4 years at $4M per? - kingcong39
Solid player
Asked to be moved because of playing time
Don't see him getting that in buffalo
I brought him up last week
Be a good add for some team

"Reinhart is probably the closest comparable to Fiala for what a realistic package looks like. Reinhart scored at a 38-goal pace on a dreadful Sabres team in 2020-21 and was a bona fide top-line-caliber talent like Fiala. Reinhart was in the same boat as an RFA one year away from UFA status.
Florida surrendered a 2022 first-round pick (top-10 protected) and prospect goaltender Devon Levi for Reinhart. Levi was a seventh-round pick in 2020, but he had an outstanding World Juniors performance later that year, posting three shutouts and a 0.67 goals-against average in seven games to guide Canada to a gold-medal win. Levi was only one year removed from being a seventh-round pick at the time of the trade, but he’s turned into a legitimate blue-chip prospect since joining the Sabres organization. Levi was the best netminder in college hockey last season and looks like he could be the Sabres’ goalie of the future.
Would a first-round pick and a quality prospect be a reasonable package for Fiala based on the Reinhart return?"
This is what I was saying the other day. If the market is similar, Fiala can be had for less than Wild fans (and us prior to the Reinhart trade) think. 28, Johnson (minor +) can probably get it done. |

in a vacuum i love the trade. However, my only concern is, what assets do we need to acquire the goalie and the defenseman.

Does Steve Kerr need to just shut up and coach? - RichardRoma
Depends, and I'm asking not telling, is he the same coach who used to spend every other press conference telling us Donald Trump was a Russian plant, or was that the idiot from San Antonio or was it both? I have no respect for anyone who pushed that lie for three years and cheered on two impeachments of a POTUS for funsies. None whatsoever. Those people are tantamount to traitors who did their best to cause a civil war in this country, and most assuredly added to the psychosis of our nation that leads to these shootings.
Either way, ain't nothing changing in America. Since Columbine we've spent an entire generation perfecting mass murder video games to the point they're so real you can't tell the difference between a video game and a youtube clip of a real massshooting. Why would any society do that? No sane one would. Meanwhile, there's more guns than people in America, and our law enforcement institutions from the FBI to your local PD have nowhere near the respect and admiration of the public they had a generation ago, nor do they deserve it.
If you're single without kids my advice is to hire a lawyer and emigrate the hell out of this sick place. |

You're comparing speaking about politics to speaking about saving children's lives.
We have the same video games north of the border and we don't have this mass shooting problem.
Lack of gun control is the only reason for what happens in the states.

You missed the other part of my post where I said we have more guns than people in America. That wasn't an exaggeration. If you've got a magic wand that can take them all away go ahead and wave it.
Edit: The most successful gun control policy in American history, called stop and frisk, was thrown out and called racist because that's all democrats know how to do. Furthermore, they all made the man who implemented this successful policy apologize and cuck himself on the stage of the Democrat primary nomination because he had the guts to take guns out of criminal's hands. So yeah cry gun control all you want.

I'd be shocked if 28 +Johnson gets it done. 16 + Asplund might be more reasonable IMO, based on likely interest from NJ and Ott driving the price up. Also, Fiala is a loser since he doesn't hit enough and hasdn't singularly carried his team in the PO's.
I like the thought from yesterday of Talbot + Dumba...just not sure what would cost in terms of assets, and would need an extension for Dumba or very solid assurances.
That would allow them to resign Fiala & MAF.
