I know it was discussed on here briefly and I am not sure how much, but Toronto needs to shake it up and needs cap space...

JT anyone?

His NTC and cap hit really limit where they could send him. I doubt they want to trade him and especially here, but I would send 16 for him...

Only if he alternated between Leafs and Sabres jammies/sheets as a kid. Otherwise, (frank) off.

And you're ok with that? What if Gibson turns out to be nothing more than another Carter Hutton?
- RichardRoma

GP. Sv%
3. .954 (n/a)
23. .914 (team finished tied for 5th)
40. .920 (team finished
52. .924 (team finished 6th)
60. .926* (team tied for 9th)
58. .917 (team tied for 23rd)
51. .904 (team finished 29th)
35. .903 (team finished 30th)
56. .904 (team finished 27th)

* last winning season

Hutton played 2 season as starter, his 1st year in Bflo with 50, and 1 with Nashville w 40 games)

I'd bet on the side that when a competent team is in front of him, he delivers the goods as well.

Now, is he worth that contract for 5 more seasons? Debatable, but he'll be 33 at the conclusion not age 36 like Hutton is now. BTW, at 33 yo, Hutton posted .908 with Buffalo 1 season after his career best of .931 at 32. Age should not be an issue.

Nylander should be the one to go. Tavares played great for them.

Well he scores, he sets up goals, he's a plus possession player and he plays on the PK. He's turned into a pretty good all around hockey player.

Not a selling point homie
Lol

At a lower salary
If he falters straight to the ahl

Do you think Anderson would stay in buffalo for a year as a goalie consultant
Then if injuries happen
He could sign go through waivers
With league knowledge he would retire if claimed

I kinda like the Minnesota goalie idea hank mentioned Talbot

I like the hart for the 28th pick. Good age for this team. Excellent petigree.

Murray and mzarek for nothing, seems like a past 12 years Sabres move.

I do like stacking up suban and tokarski in Rochester. Goalies been going down right and left.

What makes Carter Hart different from Mika Noronen?

Yeah I agree, I havent given up on upl, but the injuries are a major concern.

How hard would it be to acquire a good top 20 goalie?

We have plenty of draft picks and prospects.

My guess, they address the goalie situation at the draft.
Not picking a goalie, but letting the fans we mean business finally in the b-lo

Hart has looked good, seems like a boom or bust.

* just relocated my seats to aisle, in person.
Sales have been decent according to my rep
Adding a real nhl goalie would help sell tix

Toronto will not trade Tavares. Nylander is 100% gone-zo. I'm thinking Winnipeg is where he goes.
