Gosh remember when Tavares took that hometown discount to join his childhood team? The more players that do this, the worse JT's deal looks. Gio doesn't even have an NMC.

Remember the part I said "before moving any pieces?" This doesn't include freeing up additional cap space.

Plus you only need 5 players as a roster is usually 23 players. Kallgren is showing on this roster so it's closer to 8 million before Mrazek or anyone is moved.
