I used to knock it 270-280 nowadays probably 20 less but with that tailwind still probably get 280ish lol

Refs are always a problem, oilers still look like crap except McMuffin in the o zone, flames would have Tanev on McMuffin he’s done well in the past on him.

And yet, I bet teams would match all those offers, amounting to nothing.

The issue with keeping miller to start the season is....if we're close or in the playoffs....and you're not sure if he will resign.....do you trade him? Sends a bad message to the team and fans.....or do you risk losing him for nothing like marky, tanev, toffoli........

Easier to trade him now, let the team prepare for it to start the season....

It’s the most important thing for management to get done this summer. Signing him to an 8 year $70m contract doesn’t do anything to your cap this coming season, so they would still have an entire year to figure it out, but as you say, trying to get him signed at the deadline, or trade him would be a bad look.

And I use those numbers as the extreme, I’m not suggesting that’s what he deserves, or will get, just that it doesn’t impact next season.

So sign him in July, or deal him to a team that missed out on their UFA target(s)

Goalie interference was 50/50 but missed on the quick whistle goal. Both should have technically counted. Oh well. Game won.
