Didn't you hear?

He will fall out of the top 2 picks, landing (maybe, if he is lucky) 3rd.

- Mashadar

and I thought drafting at #1 was supposed to be a blessing, so far the speculations have been basically just poop lolll

I know. my sole point from the beginning is that he is going to be a busy man, it's his first year as GM. in the end we might say that "it was quiet for him" if he doesn't get too much done, but that's just an expression, it doesn't mean he was sitting on his ass all this time behind the scenes. add to the list of things to do that he has a development and recruitment team/program to build. that's it, kinda tired of the topic, if you hadn't already noticed...
- Pat1993

I actually do not think he will be that busy.... maybe at the deadline again, but I expect small moves until some things become clear (ie: Price, able to get rid of some of the contracts, development/progression of youth, etc...).

I just do not see anything drastically changing before training camp.

He will go #1.

Only people who are trolling for hits / views say otherwise.

They also wanna be the guy that can say: I TOLD YOU!!! if it were to happen (which it won't).

Yeah it always seems like the thing to say the lock at 1 is in danger of dropping.

Hell, eichel was even being presented as a threat to go 1

yeah, high event game for sure, but it was more of a cluster(frank), and not overly physical until the very end where nothing really happened. but yeah I definitely see the games getting better as the series goes on, unless it just becomes a complete failure for the oil/a quick win for the flames...

Not gonna lie, I kinda enjoy batpoop crazy games where anything can happen at any time.

That was fun to watch, mostly because I did not really care who won.

whatever they decide to do, we shouldn't immediately poop on them. I trust that the new management team will do their homework and make the best decision for the team moving forward.

it's a bit weird, it's as though fans are divided in 2 camps, one saying Wright is the right choice, the other saying "player X, but not Wright". one thing is for sure the habs can't just choose an option simply because it was the most popular at the time...

I get what you're saying. a peculiar night where Koskinen was technically the better goalie, despite allowing a bunch of goals lolll

I don't think Jersey even want Wright, given what they have down the middle right now. So unless they believe the Habs are gonna pass on him and pick the player they want, why make the deal?

Montreal will pick Wright.
