for me obviously the hate is more in the east, especially for TB and CAR now that the B's and the laffs are gone. I still remember that Patrick Roy trade, so I wouldn't mind if the blues somehow got through, but I don't care about it as much.

looks like the WC champs are coming out of the blues/avs series.
canes/panthers are tolerable from the east. just (frank) tb.

My philosophy has always been, when my team is gone I root for the Wings. If the Wings are gone, then I root for the team that has never won the cup before, just because it would be super cool for their fans.
So by default, I should be rooting for the Panthers...
But I gotta say, I also love a super villain, and nothing makes a great super villain for all hockey fans to hate than a team that keeps winning, so I am also not totally against the Lightning.

Sean Farrell (MTL) had two assists and led all U.S. forwards with 19:17 of ice time. He also had six shots on goal in his best Worlds performance to date. Getting good power-play time, too.
