You better be sitting in your car when the game starts. - JRR1285
Well I play it by ear lol
Tonight I break back out the laf jersey (which was hidden in a drawer after game 4. it’s not Lafs fault mind you , it’s just part of the process)
I’ll see how it goes. If it’s not going well I’ll change into my smelly T-shirt and shorts, also smelly.
The car is second choice, but is certainly on the table for every game: I’m nuts 🤷🏻♂️
I also have “cmon ma, one time, make something happen” for every series. Which was key last series on the Kreider game 6 winner. I’ll save that for elimination games

“In-ice advertising will be a revenue source for Arizona State, and the Coyotes aren’t allowed to modify the look of the ice surface – including the Arizona State logo at center ice.”
The Coyotes have to play in a sub-5000 seat barn with someone else's logo at center ice - eichiefs9
The worst part is that none of this matters if they can't get an arena deal done in Tempe.
The report on where they want to build the new building says that construction would limit the capacity at the airport and cost the airport $21.5 million annually. Overall the report says it will have a negative impact of $268 million annually on the area during consrtuction.
It's a long way from a done deal. I don't think this thing gets built.

Yeah the outlook feels bleak for them and, I've said it before, but I think this ASU thing is Bettman's last lifeline for them to get something done. If they can't get something approved by the end of the three year lease I think the league finally pulls the plug

Bill Daly was pretty adamant that the deal in ASU is only permissible if they have a long term solution in place elsewhere and that the Yotes should be talking THAT up instead of trying to promote the deal with ASU.
I think they're pissed that this has to happen and embarassed that the Yotes essentially got evicted. Meruelo is a joke.
