This is how I feel every time I look at Auston Matthews. Supremely talented athlete, but I get nauseous every time I have to look at that (frank)ing abomination he calls a head

yeah tell me something I dont know

but really its an Ottawa player so I dont give a rats ass

but in 2009, after Rangers had early out from playoffs, if Marc Staal was hanging out with Pens fans wearing black and gold, getting drunk and crazily cheering on Jordan Staal's Stanley Cup run, I know I wouldn't have liked it

thats just me though, Im (frank)in cray cray

It might annoy me a little if it was an Islander cheering on his brother's team that happened to be a rival. But OTT/CGY isn't really much of a conflict of interest. If Matthew played for the Leafs I'd get it.

if TJ was on the Islanders I would be in the crowd talking so much poop about him it isnt even funny
- jimbro83

If i was on the islanders I’d keep putting the puck in my own net on purpose and I’d keep doing for another team until the rangers finally called

With about 3 or 4 minutes left in the 3rd the kid line got a faceoff in the canes end and they were pulled. I understand that Zib line is paid for these situations but the way they were -laying I would of like to see the kids out there. One the Gallent is, is loyal to a fault. But glad we have him

Living 1h from Ottawa I never became a fan but I'm finally getting to it after being bored with the Habs 3 years ago. But god they are just not there yet.

Gallant, Sutter, and Brunette were announced today as being the three finalists for the Jack Adams Award as the top NHL coach for this season.
Gallant last won it when coaching Vegas in their franchise's first season of 2017/18, before eventually taking them to the Cup Finals won by the Caps.

Yeah, I know that you & every other Isles fan will miss Barry Trotz so dearly beginning next season, with Great or "not so great" Grandpa Lou under control there.

You should be, per him being announced shortly ago today as one of the three Jack Adams Award finalists.

Yes, "the kid line" was out there with a little over 4:00 left, followed by Strome's line coming out next with about 3:20 remaining. Then on a partial change about 50 seconds later with Zibby replacing Strome, a still on the ice & leg weary Panarin had failed to backcheck in time, to in part prevent Aho's semi break-in and game tying rebound goal after Shesty stopped the initial break-in. Around 30 seconds prior to the goal, Panarin also couldn't control the puck in the Canes zone, resulting first in a Cane player's shot hitting the post. However, Gallant used "the kid line" for 3 shifts within under a 7:00 span from midway in the 3rd thru that 3:20 point remaining, with both Chytil's & Kakko's 18 game shifts being one short of their line mate Laf's 19 received.
