That was brutal especially with how well we played for the first 2 periods. Our top guys have to step up in game 2 if we have any chance

They stopped playing in the 3rd. Not like Lindgren to not just take that in the body.

Eventually he’ll bury those. Really sucks right now tho.

If Laf turns out great, which he looks to be gaining traction towards doing that, and Kakko is a stable top 6 player, I think they’ll take that. Kakko may just be a solid two way player, rather than an offensive horse sorta speak. Nichuskin broke out this year, I kinda see Kakko as that kind of player. Gonna take time with him. He’s clearly an NHL regular, maybe a blessing in disguise he won’t break out right away with the salary structure the way it is.

I know the loss is brutal but I feel better about how they played tonight than I have the whole playoffs so far. They were really good, for 40, maybe 50 minutes. Not quite 60 yet.
