Public pressure, the greatest way to build a contender

I get that. But then again, we saw with KK what can happen when you try to be smarter than everybody else with a top pick. Wright is 1st overall on EVERY god damn list that matter that we have seen.

Well, when Bergevin tries to be smarter. And everybody knows how THAT was going to end.

Why should mtl pass on Wright? They need a centre and almost everybody agrees that he is BPA.

I'm with the chicken on this one.

Don't fall for the classic "overanalysis" before the draft.

Coyotes won't be allowed to use their logo at centre ice in the ASU arena...wow that's pathetic.

Can't believe the other owners are fine with this whole situation.

It's embarassing for everyone involved.

Just imagine the reaction of the crowd at the bell center when Buttman shows up on stage to say the Habs have trade their 1st overall pick to move back a spot or two. Or worse...they go off board and pick someone else than Wright. HuGo will get booed conspicuously, there is nothing Chantal will be able to do to fix that.

Pick the BPA...stop over analyzing this and focus on who you want after that pick with CGY's pick and the early 2nd round pick, that's much more important.

To be fair, I did not see any of them play, but the scouts did and pretty much all have Wright as the number one.

I'm pretty sure they know they are picking Wright already and are working on their later picks. That was the point in winning the lottery in the first place. They just can't say it out loud before the draft.

By the way, when will the tickets be on sale for that? Should be a fun first round.

I have a feeling we will see a big move or two at the draft, wouldn't be surprised to see the Habs either get another 1st round pick or a good prospect as part of a trade. I also predict they will move up a few times in the draft, they have too many picks and they picked 39 players the past 4 years where most teams would pick 28 times normally, HuGo will focus on quality vs quantity now.

I'm always here, so I guess that's how I will know when it goes on sale. Should be sold out fast I would think. Not sure what to expect for prices...

according the Habs, they are getting a Hugo's amount of daily messages for draft tickets so yes, I expect they will sold out the same day IMO, curious to see what the scalpers will ask for in the resale market.

I do have a twitter account but I barely use it.

My "go-to" social media remains facebook, never even made the jump to instagram despite all my friends asking me.

"Everyone I know is already on facebook, why the (frank) would i bother getting an instagram account?"

The only answer I got was there were more NSFW material on instagram.
