hopefully Reaves comes out like the hitting machine like he was in games 1 and 2 vs Pittsburgh and then maybe by game 3 Goodrow will be ready and then Reaves is the guy to sit down

Hunt/Brodzinski just suck so much ass

Canes averaged more fans per game than the Rangers did this year. 17,210 per game.
- BINGO!

I deny all stats. Just as I will during this series...the score may be 5-2 for the Canes, but I will deny the Rangers lost.

So a question to our Canadian fans here. Is the Oilers/Flames series going to be as big a deal as they say or is it more the media hyping it up?

Battle of Alberta is real, doesn't need hype! Going to be a GREAT series!

Yeah, the only thing that keeps me from saying it's the biggest thing you could imagine is the fact that pretty much none of the guys playing were alive the last time they met in the playoffs!! But, I think there's still more than enough friction between the two cities to pull the teams into it regardless.

Joel Otto and Mark Messier had some INSANE battles on the ice, both would have received SUBSTANTIAL suspensions had they attempted to play that way today!

Coolest thing ever: at the end of the series they simply lined up and shook hands at center ice like it was no big deal!

Negotiations for a new one are underway.

Dundon has said he's willing to put $200 million of his own cash in for a new one downtown. OR he'll accept putting ~$50 mill in for renovations to the existing one so long as he gets the rights to develop the land around the existing arena.

- BINGO!

That’s interesting. Which option do you prefer?

Is the current location in the boonies or something? Guess if you can build that area up that could be a win-win.

Flames are gonna blow them out. Jake Oettinger was the best goalie ever for a 7 game series (people actually said that, he was that good) Smith can’t hang with that, Edm have no chance imo. Game 7 may be the single best performance by a goalie ever (they were outshot 67-28 )They barely got by LA…Maybe it goes 5 games, it will be fun to watch tho

Having them on TNT was fantastic, I didn't have to listen to Sam & Joe

I'm hoping Kenny Albert will take over full time for Sam Rosen when he ( finally ) goes.

Fixed it for you since when the Rangers played there, about 8000 were cheering for the away team.

Doesn't matter to me. I'm not there.

The plans for the renovations looked pretty cool though. Big outdoor patios, etc.

So they're renovating it into a Costco-sized fast food restaurant?
