I don't think a superstar being traded ever truly makes the team trading him away that much better. I know as fans we like to assume "just trade for a top 2 dman" but that isn't as easily done as anyone thinks. Let alone, that player ALSO will have flaws too and it's kind of funny that people assume they won't or that it instantly makes the team better.

Nylander is the only big 4 I could see moving if the right deal comes along.

2 years away from UFA now. He is not the cost controlled contract he once was anymore. Deals can be worked out with contracts with 1 year left or players that are a bit older.

That’s not bad though eh! The Liligren part is why I’d think of saying no there.

Getting sheifele even though he’s not defensively sound (he’s probably same or better than Willy in that area) he’s more physical and good on pp.

Helly is a solid legit nhl starter normally where Campbell was normally a backup with flashes and stretches of Vezina calibre (crazy to think about)
