I think we will see wingers or right D's with the CGY pick and Habs 2nd round pick - Symba007
Most likely, unless a top 15-20 guy unexpectedly slipped this far and they can't pass on him. |

tough to say, let's assume the pick will be 29th or 30th with Cgy losing to Colorado in the conference final.
Depends who slips in the draft...but I say they draft Jack Hughes...the son of. (most likely not) - Symba007
I'm still hoping for Tristan Luneau with that pick.
He should still be available.

He is definitely on the list of potential candidates, might not slip that late though, I could see him go in the early 20s |

I'm hopeful since he doesn't seem to be going in the first round in most mock draft I've seen.
But reality is usually way different so it's meaningless.

the fact the drafting scouts team is the same as when Timmins was there scares me a little. I know they will make some changes this summer but for this draft...past the 1st overall, scares me a little |

I get that. I had the same thought the other day.
We'll have to trust in Hughes/Gorton to already have an influence on how things are done. |

I would like Ivan Miroshnichenko, might have to move up to grab him though - Symba007
He won't drop to 29th. At least I'd be very surprised if it happened.
Guy would have been most likely top 10 without the cancer diagnosis.

In an effort to prevent Rangers fans from entering PNC Arena, anyone outside of North Carolina has been barred from buying tickets to Round 2 games between the Rangers and Hurricanes https://on.sny.tv/rKjWulB
But they do love to leech off that revenue sharing money.
What a pathetic poverty franchise. |

I don't get why the league allows poop like this.
Having fans of other team in the arena is part of the fun.

If/when tickets to the Hurricanes' home games for the series against the Rangers hit the secondary market on sites like StubHub and SeatGeek, they will likely be powerless when it comes to preventing Rangers fans from infiltrating the building they're having so much trouble selling out.
They are at resellers now, (frank) all they can do..

Jeff Petry is signed for the next 3 seasons at 6.25M per season.
There's no way Kristopher Letang, who's a much better player, won't get more than that.
Malkin has injuries issues but still remains a ppg when he does play. There are much worse players signed for much more.
They'll get more than that.

I don’t think it’s that far off what they should get but you’re likely correct that some idiot will pay more. If you look at it like 6,5,4 over the next 3 years it’s close to what they should get. They’ll be almost 39 when those contracts end. Just because Petry got a stupid contract doesn’t mean others should get the same. |
