while on one hand I feel like I'd be happy if he was a healthy scratch, I am more so wanting him to be dressed, because 5 years ago he was slow and couldn't win a faceoff, now he's fat, slow and cant win a faceoff

Just want to say, that was hell of a series. Sucks for you guys, but I'm glad there were some of us that could still talk hockey.

Yeah it does suck...the past two playoffs have stung more than the 3 before these, due to them outplaying the other team and goaltending being the biggest factor in sinking them. Pile of other if's and buts these playoffs too but its done now and while it sucks bowing out there's also a tiny bit of relief that comes with it. Long playoff runs are truly detrimental to ones health haha especially if they dont end up hoisting. 2008 was so f'n brutal as I'm sure 2014 was for you guys.

Rangers definitely got outplayed the majority of this series, just seemed like they had these short spurts where they were able to take advantage. They are kind of playing with house money . Not really sure anyone expected much these playoffs. Just happy we are in and gives these younger guys some experience. If Igor gets hot like he played most of the regular season, I guess anything is possible. I'm just trying to enjoy the ride, but yesterdays game had me all over the place

If it’s just an ankle fx with no ligament involvement, 4-6wks is the usual recovery window. Not out of the realm of possibility to get him back toward the end of this series.

The vast majority of the hockey world expected the Rangers to take this series going in. I really do think you have the components to reach the finals like 2017 Pens, this series just looked very similar to 3 of the 4 series for the Pens in 2017.
