Hey I'll be cheering like crazy for them. Just looking at it realistically. - mdw7413
I get it.
I just hope that this is a situation where the regular season is meaningless and the matchup isn't as bad as it used to be. The Rangers are a different team despite not looking like it for much of the first round. They need to get healthy and get back to their post TDL play. |

Same here...Canes having ADA, Fast, Raanta, Skjei, and Stepan doesn't help either..ALL of them will want to stick it to NYR..Hopefully, ADA does something really stupid that helps NYR win a game or two.
Canes are just a more experienced and NYR are big time underdogs. I will really enjoy game 1 b/c I will be expecting NYR to lose and it won't be stressful. Would be nice if they can steal game 1 or 2 - rrentz
I feel like it’s the Kings series all over again (matchup wise), but this time it won’t feel like the end of the era if they lose. We truly are just starting this thing. That’s why this series was so important to win. Gives them a taste of winning, at home is enormous also.. They’ll want that high again so bad feeling that euphoria of winning big games like that.
I’m truly at ease with whatever happens the rest of these playoffs. It’s a huge step that win last night, huge. Anything else will be gravy |

Something really weird happened to him last round after Marchand called him "a (frank)ing racist" and Tony threw his stick...
He calmed down. Instead of blowing up again, he calmed down and let his play do the talking. Even pulled Trocheck away from a scrum where Vinny was going to take a retaliatory penalty. It was weird. Like somebody got through to his meatball addled brain.

I think there is an x-factor we weren't expecting though. The "kid line" is starting to elevate their game. If they can have 3 threatening lines and the third pair can even out this could be a very different series. |

Canes spanked the Bruins around all season and that one went to 7 so who knows.
Personally I think it's a bit lopsided but Igor is Igor and can goalie the Canes into oblivion if he gets on a roll.

No, probably not.
I'm sure he'll do something completely insane sooner or later.
Thank god they used the deadline to add the calming presence of... Max Domi? (frank). |

If Zib stays hot and Panarin gets going and Shesty is lights out they could steal this. Those three are the key.
Kreider can't do it himself he doesn't really drive play, he needs Zib, same for Copp.
So did anyone see Strome miss the net by about 30 ft on his only shot attempt. He has been really bad. He doesn't get as much notice as Zip and Panarin though |

He's finally maturing then. I didn't see any of the moments you mentioned but they are interesting.
Marchand is such a piece of poop. I don't think I hate anyone in the league as much as him. He said something similarly inflammatory to Panarin about how "nobody in his own country likes him". It's not normal trash talk, it's a different level. |

Strome is a passenger that sometimes takes bad penalties. I have seen enough and do not want him back. Just a little light on the options if they let him walk. |

If they can all just improve in the dzone that’ll be a huge help. They were so bad I still can’t get over how bad they were D needs to be meaner in front of the net |

I think everyone here got very frustrated when he started to come back around, because the team didn't really elevate their play in front of him. They need both going to stand a legitimate chance. |

I had no idea she and Freddie were dating.
And no, not yet. He's close, but even if he does come back Raanta is probably the starter until he falters or gets hurt. He's been really good. |

Only thing I could see is re-sign Copp, he could play center. But enough about the summer. We have to beat Bingo's Richard off |
