And we saw what he had in front of the current Hawk team already, right?

He can even have the entire next season in Chicago to have time...

I would sign Lankinen for one more year at low dollars and give him 70% of starts in net for the Hawks. Sign a journeyman to back him up. Let Soderblom play another full year in Rockford getting 70% of the starts. Then evaluate both of them and Commesso. Hope one of them is a #1 goalie.

See if Craig Anderson wants to end his career here?

While your prognostication could end up being true, the Blues will be a tough out, even with their injuries. I’m not saying they’ll beat the Avs, but they are built for playoff hockey.

I kinda like the Blues in game 1 due to the Avs having so much time off. Look out after they get it together.

Allot of times the team waiting for other series to wind up starts flat. I won’t be surprised to see the Blues take the first game either.

Games tomorrow should be of no interest to you.

It is Leafs locker clean out day and the annual excuse making session with the media. Highly recommended for its entertainment value.

Can you please get me a live stream in the states? Will Pierre LeBrun be choking up giving his report live? I can’t wait.

Not sure if you can get it from the U.S. but log into sportsnet.ca. They love to carry the Leaf misery to their fans.

Late breaking news - Mitch Marner was carjacked tonight outside a movie theater by 3 dudes with guns and knives who apparently didn't even know who he was. No hurt apparently.

An article came across my feed on my phone today with a story suggesting the Hawks need to sign Malkin. Numbers suggested 3-4 years at 3-4 million. Pretty sure the leafs win a playoff round before that happens.

I’ve been watching sportsnet, TSN and according to Bissonette on Spitting Chicklets the leafs are great.

I think I’d like to see Colorado win it all. That Calgary Edmonton series has all the makings of some nasty hard fought games. The entertainment besides the game will be Sutter’s post game press conferences.

Who sent you that story? I’m betting JJ who’s sources had been predicting Malkin in Chicago for ten years.

New blog! Thoughts on why the Blackhawks need to think twice about who they may consider trading from the cadre of high-profile players like Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Alex DeBrincat, Dylan Strome, Kirby Dach, and Seth Jones.
