That hug Monahan gave to Johnny at the end of the last game after he scored the OT winner was an amazing moment. Monahan has had injuries that took him out but amazing team player he is. He never complained once about being on the 4th line. He never complained once about less ice time. He understands a team-first attitude. If he was not injured, he would've been a huge asset in the faceoff circle against the Dallas Stars.
Once considered a clutch player for the Flames. Still a great teammate and person in the locker room as per all Flames Players. Hope he recovers well from his hip surgery and does well for the rest of his career whether in Calgary or elsewhere. Nothing but respect for Monahan.

It's friendlies off. Brothers become foes. Friends become enemies. If someone crosses enemy lines here on out there are no restrictions. One man enters the other teams territory there are no limits. Good luck Flames fans with your wishes. But for the next 2 weeks... nothing but the worst.
