I almost went with the Rangers, only because of goaltending alone.

It's only a win if we get more than a 1st and a 3rd for him.

That’s a very good bet.

Yeah, Jarry being hurt was a deciding factor for me. This game could turn into another marathon the way it's going.

Of course the timing matters
Take a look at some of the players taken before the 20th pick happened. Several of them are already contributing at the nhl level, including Schneider.

You cannot have a team without good vets & expect to develop prospects at the same time.

Schneider is doing ok nothing fantastic in a sheltered role. Without Shesterkin the real NYR would show.

My last on Miller is we got a top liner who can play C & drove the bus. It allowed us to be deeper at C & resulted in 3-30g C’s which no other team has. We got Demko. Our obvious need is a stud top 4 RHD or a top 2 shutdown RHD. Net out & down the middle.

What else we lack is consistent scoring from top 6 wingers & even 3rd liners. That’s coming but most are either kids still or had set backs. Pearson should be a 3rd liner if the kids break out & get over injuries & off ice problems.

Schneider was only an example, as you have been hot to trot for him, in the past.
Personally I would be wanting Lundell, also a centreman.

Miller has been good on Canucks, it was just piss-poortiming for making that move.

I just don't understand the thinking. That move and the false hope because the play-in thingy, created another move with the Coyotes.

I really think some Canucks fans enjoy mediocrity.

Schneider is my big package with other top prospects. Not the key piece but an important one.

Lundell be nice but don’t see the Cats moving him.

If we can sign Kuzmenkov it’s the 1st domino. Allows us to make a big trade say Garland.

You must be missing my point. Both of those players, could already be Canucks, if they were patient and just drafted.

Also,Sillinger or Guenther could also be part of the organization, along with who ever they picked with the 3rd in the Miller deal and the other pick in the OEL/Garland deal.

The team is still 2 years away, so why waste picks like that, when you need some fresh young talent and don't have any.

Missing nothing bud I won’t engage in woulda coulda shoulda. Wasted picks is subjective as in ignoring what can come back for those same players if traded or others cuz of adding those same players. The trade tree isn’t finished.
