What is a “Domingue” apologist? He’s a non-nhl caliber goalie that was forced to step in and stayed above water just enough to let us take 3 games. I think it’s pretty easy to appreciate that while also hoping he doesn’t play another minute.

This^^^. It could have been a lot worse with a 3 rd string goalie in net.

Pretty much. I think if D'Orio is in net the Pens would have been lucky to win one game.

I think Domingue performed above any expectations.

There has been a lot of deflection goals that happened directly in front of him this series that no goalie was stopping, then a few cross crease point blank stuff that no goalie was stopping either.

All in all, I don't think anything else could really be asked of him

A couple of reports I've seen is that Jarry will be play tonight barring any setbacks. Crosby as well. Hoping Rakell will too.

Well I'll be shocked (and wrong) if he does. Missing a month with a broken foot, barely getting any practice sessions in and starting a game 7 is a pretty tough spot for him. Especially after he completely sunk the Pens last year.

Or he’s played like a goalie that’s seen more rubber than Nina Hartley.

Meltzer is a professional writer, a former member of the PHWA. Wilson is a fanboy. Meltzer covers the facts while only interjecting his own views when he feels it's necessary. Wilson is all about his own views and only using facts that support them. It's not surprising they write different content based in their backgrounds.

Meh. They’re the same to me. Both have had me banned for simply pointing out that they were wrong.

Jarry led the team out for warmups and Sid and Rakell in their usual spots.

Hope I guessed right on the lucky jersey for tonight. Trying to channel 1992 so going with the 2nd cup(refused to buy a #9 one lol) dark Francis which back then was the away jersey.

Win or lose, we performed better than expected. Especially missing a top 6 forward, top 6 D-Man, Starting and backup goalie, and Sid for a game. Any other playoff team would have made quick work of that situation. The Rags suck and have been exposed as frauds, even if they go to round 2.

Haven't the Pens lost each time they've scored first in this series?
