Not gonna argue that, lol Just saying Ryan Wilson is a tool. Look at the Flyers and that sad state of affairs but you never see Bill Meltzer write crap like Wilson does. Have a little class Ryan Wilson. Bill is an amazing blogger unlike your wimpy whining Wilson. - joegreif17
Meltzer is a professional writer, a former member of the PHWA. Wilson is a fanboy. Meltzer covers the facts while only interjecting his own views when he feels it's necessary. Wilson is all about his own views and only using facts that support them. It's not surprising they write different content based in their backgrounds. |

Need to have some hope to achieve something more than mediocrity in that organization. Seems you have found the flyers calling… blogging. |

What is a “Domingue” apologist? He’s a non-nhl caliber goalie that was forced to step in and stayed above water just enough to let us take 3 games. I think it’s pretty easy to appreciate that while also hoping he doesn’t play another minute. |

Louis has come up with some big time saves to keep his team in it, but he has a .898%. That's not good enough for any team to win in the playoffs no matter how well they play in front of him.
As I said in the previous blog, it's hard to fault him personally. He's a 3rd string goalie. How much can you realistically expect from any 3rd string goalie? If goalies like him were consistently able to contribute average goaltending he wouldn't be a 3rd string goalie. - Rinosaur
Why is his playoff save % better then Jarry's if he is so bad. What does that say about Jarrys playoff performances. At least Louie has a 3-3 record unlike Jarrys losing record |

Jarry was horrific last year. Single handedly blew that series against the Isle. If the Pens go down, it will be the 2nd year in a row the Pens will have been knee capped by crap tending. |

This Ryan Wilson guy is total trash. Got to be the worst one sided, cry baby whiner writer of HB. Why don't you just move on Ryan and stop with trying to convince people that the Pens are so wonderful. Excuses, Excuses Go Rangers and shut this guy up. - joegreif17
Your team has been badly outplayed by a team with no Crosby, Dumo, Rakell, Jarry, or DeSmith.
You're alive because we have a minor league goalie. You should've won in 5 games and yet here we are lol.

Because the Islanders were a far better team than your team? Jarry sucked last year, no one here is doubting that. However, a #1 caliber goalie is a better option than a #3 guy.
This isnt hard lol. You just keep coming back here for drama. |

Let there be no mistake. Wilson took this gig to further his career as an advanced stat guy. He is using the pens blog to try to further that goal. |

Most likely. Would be fantastic irony if the Flyers offered him a spot. |

Exactly. It is one step above blaming David Ayres had he lost that game. He was never supposed to be an NHL playoff starter or backup because he is not that caliber goalie. |

I’m going to miss almost the entire game. I’m really hoping the other team cancels tonight. I’d say f it but it’s for the championship, not that I care all that much but some other guys do. Let’s go Pens!! |

Pens are alive only because Shesterkin has played like crap since game 1. You are right if Shesterkin played like expectations this would have been over in 5 or 6 |

If the Pens had Jarry and Shesterkin played to expectations, all other things being what they are, we're likely in the same position we are now.
If Jarry starts this series and everything else remains the same? Pens possibly end this in 4. You guys have played like dogpoop. |

Or he’s played like a goalie that’s seen more rubber than the Daytona 500. |

Played to whose expectations? He has played exactly to my expectations. An overrated goalie who had an abberation of a season. He is is headed down the Bryzgalov path, good luck with him.
I don't think there is any chance Jarry starts tonight. Domingue will be in net and he will outplay Shertsthebed. |

Agree Rangers ,outside of the kid line, have played like crap and agree with your overall comment. Expected this to be a 7 game series we just got here in an unexpected way. |

A couple of reports I've seen is that Jarry will be play tonight barring any setbacks. Crosby as well. Hoping Rakell will too.

From DK - Bottom line, as I see it, based on everything I’ve seen and heard here: Sid and Jarry will play. Rakell, too.

Getting way too far ahead, but he'd be the easy choice for Sid to hand the cup to first. |

It was good enough for Tampa to beat Toronto in 7 games |

Personally I’d just like to see him hand it to Malkin, then Letang, then whoever. |
