Why on earth would they pay $8 mil unless the Sabres hold all marketing rights and think they’ll sell more than $10 m in sales.

Levi is a done deal with Buffalo, he wants that experience in College again. Missed his whole freshman year with broken ribs. He signs his ELC the day his college season ends.

I could see a 1 year situation back in Pittsburg. Not a lot of money, but lots of bonus and endorsement. Just to finish his career where he started. Hockey is weird like that.

NJ: 1 year / league minimum

He will be in Pittsburgh or Montreal. Ideally 2 years, $7M but up to 2/$10m
