THis.

DO you think Tampa would let a guy like Engvall float around and not hit anybody? Or Allow a guy like Willy to do his thing? They wouldn’t have them on the roster, its everyone all in blocking, hitting, sacrificing.

Leafs were much better this year. Honestly they probably deserved to win this series. But doesn't change the results. IMO Keefe is fired, Dubas is fired, Shanahan is fired and Nylander is traded. Those are the major moves.
- PlatosRepucklic

Barry Trotz?

Wouldn't surprise me. But all of what you said here is correct.

Im on board for trading willie this summer, and not because I hate him like all the obsessive crybabies. Because his offence isn't what's desperately needed and can be largely replaced. Because moving him is a huge dynamic shift.

Kerfoot and Holl can follow suit. There's 12 million in cap space.

- joel878

I'm on board for trading Marner and Reilly, replace them with some real men.
We know there are a bunch of them at the back of the bus.

Not saying these 4 played bad but Matthews, Tavares, Marner, and Nylander combine for $50 mill CAD - and produced 0 goals in the biggest game of the season. I don't know how you justify that.
- AlfieisKing

Yep. Same story every playoff. I would move one… Matthews is untouchable but everyone else is on the table. Even MARNER.

You mean the dirtiest player in the NHL not named Brad Marchand?

Largely replace a 34 goal scorer. There's a bunch of them at the back of the bus.
- bobbyisno1

Im sorry did my comment imply you needed to replace him tit for tat? There's 20-25 goal scorers available for less than 5 million in free agency every year. Or is the 9 goal differential not 'largely' enough for you...

Night hawk bend ing over for the Leafs and getting on his knees.

Stamkos talking about Nick Paul and Hagle playing the Tampa way. Fitting in and they play the right way.

I gotta agree with Joel on this one fellas.

I don't know.

If it was the second or third time this had happened i might agree

This time DID feel a little different to me as an outsider, but this is a persisting problem.

Great a 20-25 goal score for 2 or 3 months costing a first round pick and maybe more.

Leafs were better, refs honestly played a role these past 2 games. It’s sad and pathetic. I’m not really mad at the team for once, so that’s progress I suppose…
- bartsch

How did the refs figure in this one again?

Well, I guess we will know what is going to happen by what happens to Dubas. If he stays the ship keeps sailing straight ahead. If he gets fired stuff starts getting Jetisoned…
