1) TB is not expecting a different lineup and are preparing for previous lineup 🤔
2) Proactive vs reactive
3) If losing, soften up their stars
4) Cc and Joel 🤨🤭😆
The passion that unites us all

I think I might be a true Leafs fan.
Allow me to explain...
I have a strange detachment from tonight's game. Usually, I would feel some urgency, nervousness, and have a emotional investment in the result of the game. But, tonight is different. I am expecting the Lightning to lose. All year I have had a sinking feeling that this is not the year. This is not the year the Bolts attain the legendary 3-peat. That feeling has escalated as the season progressed and the Lightning had multiple losing streaks (something we are not used to as Lightning fans), and as Vasi continued to underperform compared to his past standards. I started feeling defeatist well before the trade deadline. Bringing in Paul has been a pleasant surprise as he has exceeded expectations, and Hagel is no slouch, but they do not replace the Goodrow-Gourde-Coleman line.
I feel like the torch in the East is about to be passed to a new team. It could be the Leafs, it could be the Panthers. Personally, if the epic run must come to an end, I'd rather it be the Leafs than the stinking Panthers.
I see the Bolts as underdogs in tonight's game. The only way they win is if one of the following happens : the Leafs don't show up (like Game 4) or Vasi goalies the poop out of the Leafs and steals the game.
I'm already 3/4's drunk and 200% stoned. Let the best team win. - GalacticStone
Ahh, fractions and percentages all in one sentence, nice. |

I just meant, that like Leafs fans in previous years, I don't feel confident, despite having a talent-loaded team. - GalacticStone
Your guys had a good run. Can’t argue with two cups.
I’m confident that the Leafs will win the series. Then we can change the “win” song to Turn the Page |

Leafs win tonight unless the refs screw them over.
Look for the refs to give Tampa enough powerplays to get and maintain the lead. Seeing as how they are on the brink, they will get away with everything short of murder. - Aetherial
Of course, The Refs. |

To be fair it IS Kelly Sutherland out there. Ref who calls the most penalties.
That said think it could hammer both teams. |

I am surprised at the amount of penalties being called in this series. Is this happening in other series as well?

In the first 99% of the my life, the refs put away the whistles in the playoffs. This year is phucked up.
