I'm tired of you just taking shots at people to start arguments. Stop it or you won't be here to comment before, during or after todays game or longer.

debating if I should get some beers for tonight game. beers are usually reserved for the weekend. - dmnted
Well spirits aren't beer. Neither is wine, cider, or big fat doobies.
Since I'm a teetotaller I'm just going to have a pizza party. I'm feeling a classic vibe - pepperoni, tomato, mushroom, green pepper and extra cheese. With some ice cream, and pop.

As a neutral hockey fan, game 7 would be awesome but I know that's not what you want to hear, some of you might die of a heart attack |

It might be because of he's a bruins bastard but I'd name the "most points from a defenseman award" the Paul Coffee trophy. - Scabeh
Oh God, I would hate that.
Because it would always bug me that the NHL spelled Coffey's name wrong. |

Congrats to the Leafs on the comeback and decisive win.
A few thoughts from the enemy trenches :
1) In the days of Lightning old, I would have been satisfied that a 2-goal lead is a death sentence for the opposing team in 90% of games, playoffs or not. This year has been different because Vasi is not up to his usual dominant self. The pedestrian season stats and lack of Vezina nomination is proof that something wasn't right in Russian goalie land. Sure, he's been good, but not exceptional. And that has exposed some of the Lightning's ugly blemishes. The Lightning can score their way out of problems when Vasi is only allowing 2-ish goals per game. When Vasi gives up 4 or 5, those problems start outrunning your scoring talent. Vasi has yet to goalie the poop out of the Leafs and steal a game or two. Will he? He's running out of time and runway.
2) Leafs are no pushover. They are not soft. They have the talent to beat your defense and your goalie. If Tavares gets rolling finally, then it becomes a pick your poison matchup down the center with the top-2 lines, and then look the F out.
3) Leafs defense is solid now, no glaring weak spots. Holl gets hate, but this Leafs blueline (when healthy) is better than it's been in many years.
Tables were turned in the last game. Bolts choked and the Leafs actually showed some of that "killer instinct" they get beat up about in the media. Let's see if that killer instinct carries over into tonight's game, or if this goes back to Toronto for a dreaded Game 7. I'm cool with any result. It's been a great run for the Bolts, so if it ends during this series, I can live with that, IF the Leafs take advantage of that and go on a deep run after dispatching the Lightning. No beating the defending champs and then choking in the next round - finals or bust. |

If they're about to lose, smugface Pooper might ask Perry or Moron to injure one of the core5. I really dislike that guy |

I think the comback in game five will give the leafs a ton of energy going into the game tonight. Things might be different this time around finally.
Bolts will of course want some redemption.
