Yes it is!
I understand that in a pool you can put your thoughts first.
But being a fan means you want them to win badly. - Dozzer
Want them to win sure, but if they don't, meh what can you do.
I have no expectations of the team, not that heavily invested.
Get over that first round hump, its all i would care about. Everything else would be gravy.

Well after that ringing endorsement I retract my previous statement.

He doesn't even have to shut them out, could be just let in one goal.
But fortunately that hasnt occurred. - Fakepartofme
His year long GAA was 2.49 this year which means the top scoring teams will likely get at least 2 or 3 and he only has the main amount of 1 goal games against against the non playoff teams.

I hate to say this to you but a true fan wants them to win badly, shrugging it off if they don’t means you like the team but don’t love them like a pure fan does

No. You dont decide what a true fan is.
You wanna be a homer or overly invested, great, all the power to you and anyone else. Its all good and can be fun.
After decades of failure, im at a show me stage with this team. Show me youre different and get past the first round.
Shrugging it off if they dont win doesnt make anyone any less of a fan. Maybe a little more in control of their emotions, but not any less of a fan.
I wanna see a cup just like anyone else, i want my kids to see a cup but if it never occurs its nowhere near the end of the world or anything devastating. The results of pro sport teams is very low on my important things in life scale.
But it doesnt make me or anyone else any less of a fan.

After Toronto's oft-deserved rep as a flat home crowd during the regular season, it's so cool to see what a great 7th man they are in the playoffs. Just blowing the whole joint up.
