It’s time for everyone to start cheering for those Canadian teams, screw Tampa, LA, Dallas. Who didn’t cheer for the Habs 2021, Canucks in 2011? Sens in 2007, Oilers 2006, Flames in 2004.
Real Canadians cheer on their teams!

- K-man25

lol right...you cheered for the Nucks in 2011??

Well if we kept Hamonic/Motte probably would have made the PO's. Hard to say.

You might wanna get your Boeser Jersey ready for the start of next year.

I think he is making fun of how a lot of Van fans were upset that nobody east of BC cheered for them back in 2011. And believe you me, there were plenty who were annoyed that Boston got a lot of love north of the border.

He's not being serious. Clearly just making fun of Vancouver fans' severe insecurities & deep feelings of inadequacy.

Elliotte Friedman just tweeted this out, apparently he thinks McDavid plays for Vancouver

Ted Lindsay Award finalists for “most outstanding player” in the NHL, as voted by @NHLPA members: Josi (NASH), Matthews (TOR), McDavid (VAN).

What a massive load of shit!
First, no one outside of the Vancouver fanbase cheered for the Canucks in 2011.
Second, I never cheered for any of the other Canadian teams in cup finals, that's for betas.

- Marwood

Wrong! I cheered for the Canucks in 11 and I know you’re a closet Flames fan!

Wow….Connor McDavid just carrying the Oilers on his back, 12 points in six games, leading all players. I know the Hart voting is over before the playoffs start but if he doesn’t win the Hart trophy it’ll be a sham.

Its voted on by moron writers so it’ll go to Matthews. If I had a vote it would either go to Shesterkin or Kaprizov. They both literally carried their teams this year. Had staggering numbers compared to others. Both far more valuable to their team.

That is totally post season/playoff related, on a side note, Brad Marchand is also a helluva player but is a huge Richard on the same level as Evander Kane.

Matthews scored 60, which is a huge accomplishment, however, I agree there are other/better candidates for the Hart. McDavid had career highs in so many categories.

Did Stamkos even get nominated for the Hart when he scored 60?

Edit: I just looked, he did and finished a distant second to Malkin.
