bah, I think it's perfectly normal, there are certain players you just appreciate more than others. loving every single player that wore a flyers jersey forever and ever would be kinda weird. lol - Pat1993
what if they are from quebec? |

Dallas are much tougher than I imagined ... I thought Calgary would have an easier time with them. |

Yeah, I don’t think anybody loves every player who has come through their system.
I am rooting hard for Giroux, though. Always loved that guy. Shame he almost never had the sniper he deserved on his line. His numbers are great as is, but Philly never knew what to put around him. He was revitalized for a hot second with that year of Jagr, but for the most part it was other play makers, gritty forwards, and 200’ players. Certainly nothing wrong with any of those, especially the latter, but a guy who created like G in his prime needs a guy who can bury the puck on his line. Gagne and Jagr we’re mentally fast enough to play with him. Lupul a little for a hot second. That’s about it. |

interesting. might be a controversial take in these parts but you could have the same kind of argument about Carey Price, a stud goalie that never had an elite team in front of him as a true compliment. now his salary and injuries have obviously become an issue, but still...

Not really pat, he was just an bumhole to me, and mrs26, and others at a charity event we sponsored.
So much so, we made sure he wasn’t invited back.
But, as I said maybe he’s changed, I hope so, no way you get through life being that big of an bumhole.. |

I really thought they were gonna figure something out and Danault would stay, but oh well. with sound asset management this kind of poop shouldn't happen. - Pat1993
I think Danault was not happy with management (and maybe even the coaching), he was leaving even if the Habs made a similar contract offer.
MB was his own worst enemy when it came to picking favourite and handing out (bad) contracts. |
