No kidding genius. I made this comment implying that Chuckles needs to do whatever it takes to convince Trotz to come to Philly. Whether it's backing up a Brinks truck full of cash(not Bobby Brinks) or spiking his coffee.

It was obvious where Taveras was going from the very start of that situation. He always wanted to play for the Laffs. There isn't an obvious place that Trotz wants to go, so now is the time to go all in on swaying him to make Philly his choice.

Being a QB in football is not the same as playing hockey. A lot harder on the body. Crosby not just sitting there throwing a ball and hoping his team protects him.

I think he can keep it up until hes 37, maybe longer in a lower role

This is really absurd. How many times on average does an NHL QB take a hit in a game? Yea, he's just standing there throwing a football.

Same with Boston. The word is if the Bruins lose in the 1st round to Carolina Don Sweeny will be out as GM. If that happens its likely the new GM would want to bring in his own coach, and thus Cassidy would be canned. Both Trotz and Cassidy would be good coaches for the Flyers, though timing is everything here for the Flyers.

It really has been good hockey every night. The biggest difference from back in the day is the scoring. Back in the day a team would get a 2 or 3 goal lead and you could turn off the TV. Now it's as if no lead is safe. They have a very good product right now with 8 very good teams making the playoffs from each conference(well, I guess the Preds were in over their heads against the Lanche). I just hope they don't eff it up by expanding the number of teams that make the playoffs. It's fine the way it is right now.
