I think someone might have mentioned that Tampa never, ever loses two in a row because they’re the best ever.

So, sorry.

Breaking that streak in Tampa would be:

At the same time, don't we all want a game 7 here?

What a year!

And hey, I think the Leafs might pull it off this time!

And if they can beat Tampa... they can beat anyone in the east.

Too bad for the Habs its not the Berdard year

In some ways I absolutely hate the Habs getting the 1st overall, but honestly, its better when the Leafs and the Habs are both consistently good, and we havent really seen that for quite a while

Mikheyev 😔

That can't be right, and even if it is, he was all over the ice. That line has been super consistent all series; our best line by far.

Leafs play well on the road. So there is a chance ...

It does seem odd.. The line was good all game.. Mikheyev threw at least one hit that I saw and was solid on the PK

This is exactly the kind of playoff mentality players need to have.

Every hockey analyst and talking head has mentioned this after every Tampa loss.
I think they are 16 or 17 - 0 after a loss.

Just keep the win/loss pattern going, if the leafs lose game 6, win game 7.
Or win game 6 and break the pattern and Tampa's record.

I like the idea of just slapping them in the face. But that’s just me

For as skilled as the Maple Leafs are, they sure go down easily.

Hoping that Spezza gives the pre-game speech next game

For the first 20 minutes it looked like somebody threw a pile of dog turds out onto the ice and put some Leafs sweaters on them.

Glad they turned it around obviously, but why is it so godamned hard for this team to start on time?

It seems like they start in prevent mode, oh and Willy. Somehow his fault.

My 20 year old mind would have exploded thinking about Spezza giving a motivational speech leading to a Leafs epic playoff comeback.
