Are you guys disappointed about this series "entertainement" so far?
I mean, the series is tied but we have yet to see one truly great game where both teams play their best and the score is tight.
It's either one blows out the other or vice versa.
It's basically a big Mr.Peanut party. - Scabeh
Beyond Game 3, there has been very little drama. Was definitely expecting the play to be a lot tighter with the potential for a blow out. |

I would much rather see the leafs blow out the lightning in a boring stifling almost sleep inducing defensive series |

Game 1 was great. Beating up on dudes, 5 goals, shutout for Soupy, reminded me of this a little bit:

I was ready to pick the Leafs this year Pat.
I would have favored them against anyone not called Tampa or Florida.
But here we are. - Scabeh
In my playoff pools, the two series that I struggled with were Toronto/Tampa and Minnesota/St. Louis.
I felt most of the rest were more likely or obvious favourites. This year, Toronto was better than Tampa in general, but Tampa was better down the stretch and has the 2x cup defending champion thing going for them. I ended up splitting my pick over two pools for this one - going with my heart in one and with the general feeling in the other pool that I don't mind being out $20 and being happy if the Leafs won a playoff series.

Yeah, the wins were good (of course) but the losses were boring, frustrating and that last game was unwatchable for me

Zezel isn’t a real person. He’s the higher spirit that we all aspire to and who can only survive in a positive and nurturing environment. We’ve killed the God of the Leafs we didn’t deserve.

Tampa has nothing left to prove, if they lose people will just say that they've played too much hockey the past two years..

I dont care about entertainment.
For this series, just want the leafs to win...make it boring and dull, dont care just win.
Then provide some entertainment in the next round.
Although game 1 was really fun. |

this
If the Leafs can't prove they can win a playoff series with the amount of talent they have on this roster, something is seriously wrong. Significant changes will need to be made.
Oh, and anyone else sick of hearing about how we have to protect our Richard winner, Hart candidate from certain players? If he is that (frank)ing good he should be able to produce when matched up against whoever. |

I still think Leafs will win the series. With the exception of Game 4, the Leafs have been the better team. Vasilevskiy still worries me the most.. If they can keep getting to him, it should be enough to win.. Really need Campbell to have a bounce back game tonightt |

That’s (frank)ing it! Kick us in the Richard and we’ll be back next year for some more Richard-kicking. Why are we shying away from our destiny?
Auston Matthews, great regular? Great - bigger boot for the Richard kicking. Up 3-1 against the (frank)ing Habs? Oh here comes Paul Bunyan and the biggest boots in the world.

Game 2, the leafs werent the better team either. Its been back and forth.
What worries me is we've seen Campbell stand on his head, we have yet to see Vasi stand on his and shut things down.
I worry that game is coming.....and I fear it may occur during a game the leafs are dominating Tampa....but Tampa wins 1 or 2- 0.
We'll see. |
