The coach decides when to pull the goalie, not the goalie.
It wasnt a mistake to pull him, the fact that he almost cried has no barring on the decision. In fact, it probably shows that he may not be ready mentally to be a number 1.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever read on hockeybuzz

Forget caresi

Whats the counterargument here, you leave him in for 10-12 and it's better for his confidence?

The solution is not to shed any tears, obviously.

Sorry, what I meant by that was don't drag me into your childish spats you start on here on the daily. But all I've done is give you the platform to unload your even more juvenile angry gimmick. No one cares to play this game with you, you need to grow up.

I expect a bounce back game for Campbell. His ego was bruised and his financial ticket is at stake. I expect a full court press by the Leafs, in the first. This team is unpredictable and when you believe that they're vulnerable, they come out and surprise the opposition. Having people like Steve Simmonds ragging on the team and it becomes a siege mentality and they have something to prove.

That’s offside bud. I question your integrity as a human at this point. I could care less about what the two of you are arguing over - and honestly haven’t read to find out.
What is I care about is a human behaving the way you just did. That’s not right. To insult or passive aggressively (whatever you would call it) suggest or elude to a man being angry at his home around his family is disrespectful.
It’s pathetic, disgusting, and small of you.

Ironically, I feel like Campbell has very little ego and that's not necessarily a good thing. He has to stop being the "super nice guy" and want to be the reason the Bolts weren't able to advance.

Hoping AM34/Marner make TBL pay for not having the optimum lineup matchups.

I would like to see that too to be honest.

I k own it wouldn’t be popular but I’d have a 4th:

Bunting-Blackwell-Clifford/Simmonds

I really respect Spezza but he had a tough last half of season. He was good in playoffs and if you guys get through Tbay then he will be important depth for sure - but this series I think calls for more Blackwell/Clifford/Simmonds energy in the 4th

Bunting had 63pts to lead all rookies in scoring this season and we want to remove him from the top line?

I’m pretty sure Washington is a better matchup for the Leafs in the second round (if we advance, of course), but I’m cheering for Florida right now, because I want it to go seven games.

I’m assuming based on him missing last couple games and then the start of playoffs plus his seemingly lack of mobility (super unlike him) on the forecheck - he might be injured. He’s been outstanding and possibly the best signing of any team for the season but he’s also not a star that can play at a high level of injured. His ‘jump’ is what makes him successful contributor on that line. If he’s healthy then ya for sure.

Also, to counter even my own opinion(??) even of healthy he’s not connecting at the moment and the top line went a bit stale last couple games so a switch up of energy isn’t a bad thing. The playoffs are not a time to be patient of things go stale sometimes. It’s too short (series).

Bunting isn’t the greatest defensive so him going to 4th is just a result in that but necessarily a knock on his overall talent.

JT/Will would need defensive help - Kerfoot
3rd line is great and a shutdown line
4th is energy

TBS commentators under the mistaken belief that if it goes through the crease, it isn’t icing.

Embarrasing.
