Well according to a shift tracker he went only about 7minutes without a shift after that play, but there was also a period break in there so that doesn't actually count as benching to me, seeing that.

Well it's not elimination unless Tampa only needs 3 games to win.

JT and Stamkos are old friends. You'd think that a friendly rivalry with some actual bad blood thrown in would motivate both of them. Stamkos has been underwhelming (mostly) and JT has been invisible.

First 2 games it was JT v Point and Matty v Stamkos. Next 2 games is was JT v Stamkos and Matty v Point. Point was nice a quiet those first 2 games.

I'm expecting Keefe to go back to those matchups and hope that Matty/Marner are freed up and JT's line can keep Point quiet. The Kampf line was feeding the Paul line too. I'd have Cliffy in for Spezza.

The coach decides when to pull the goalie, not the goalie.
It wasnt a mistake to pull him, the fact that he almost cried has no barring on the decision. In fact, it probably shows that he may not be ready mentally to be a number 1.
