I have no idea what to expect from the Leafs tonight.
will the home crowd give them a boost again?
based on what we have seen with the Leafs, I am expecting a let down game again.

I am doing 50k after work, otherwise I would just sit online chatting with a bunch of old idiots about how the Leafs are going to win tonight. |

I think a series win, at this point, would be a pretty big surprise.
Based on nothing other than watching how this team can collapse and not recover so many times before. |

How? - Drapz
Who the (frank) knows? They bounced back when they got slapped around in game 2. They’re a good team. Tampa is a good team. When they’re on, they can beat TBL. I think they’ll be on, tonight. |

Holy crap, some of you guys are downers.
Tampa sucked in games 1 and 3. Toronto sucked in game 4.
Powerplays by game:
1: Tor 6, TB 5
2: TB 7, Tor 4
3: Tor 5, TB 3
4: TB 8, Tor 3
In the two games Tampa has won, the officiating has been heavily lop-sided. In a game where they bullpoop us constantly about game management and parity, you rarely see a special teams sway of more than 2.
Last night: Col/Nas: 2-2; Dal/Cgy: 6-5; Flo/Was: 5-4; Pit/NYR: 3-1
2 Nights ago: Bos/Car: 9-5; StL/Min: 4-4; Edm/LA: 3-3
3 Nights ago: Col/Nas: 5-3; Dal/Cgy: 4-4; Flo/Was: 6-3; Pit/NYR: 3-3
4 Nights ago: Bos/Car: 5-5; StL/Min: 4-3; Edm/LA: 4-3
In the cases where you have those special team sways in excess of 2, the team with the benefit has won them all.
Did the Leafs deserve to lose Game 4? Definitely. I felt game 2 was more managed - every time the momentum swung, some penalty was called.
They'll have to play through it, obviously, but I'm not giving up the ghost when the Leafs are tied 2-2 with the 2x Stanley Cup Champs and still holding home ice. |

When I 'opened' this thread today, my first thought was 5-4 Leafs in OT. And I'm never wrong |

Game 2, the leafs werent the better team either. Its been back and forth.
What worries me is we've seen Campbell stand on his head, we have yet to see Vasi stand on his and shut things down.
I worry that game is coming.....and I fear it may occur during a game the leafs are dominating Tampa....but Tampa wins 1 or 2- 0.
We'll see. - Fakepartofme
Yup. Neither goalie has “stolen” a game yet. Everyone knows Vasi is capable of doing that at any time. JC? Not so much. We’ll see. |

Never said he wasn’t capable. Just isn’t known for it the way Vasi is. Any goalie can do it at any moment. But if I was putting money on one of the two to steal a game it would be Vasi. |
