Tampa always comes back hard after a playoff loss.
As long as the leafs keep winning every other game...they'll take the series.

sounds good... except the Leafs are not a team that has shown they can rebound each time. They are a team that has shown they can and will collapse.

2 shots on goal with a couple minutes left.

That is not one team dominating the other. That is a team with a long history of not showing up, deciding not to bother.

They look terrified out there.

Tampa always come out hard after a loss in a playoffs.
As long as it keeps going back and forth with the wins.
Leafs should take the series.....hopefully.

I didn't see it as fully his error seeing as how Kase flew the zone while they were getting hemmed in pretty hard, but passing to nobody is not a good look for him.
- 13sundin13

100 times per game a Dman has no option up the middle so they have to bang one off the wall and hope the winger bangs it out. Holl could have placed it better but you're right he puts it up the wall and the winger has to have position on the wall. Either way the problem was what happened after that turnover. Stamkos had too much time and Campbell has to get his eyes on it.

Leafs still felt pretty good ...TB was pressing and pinching and 1-0 wasn't death.

The next two, on nothing plays, were the real killers.

Holl doesn't see the ice well, moves the puck too slowly, and gets hit hard repeatedly. Literally cannot complete a first pass. If he was not a right hand shot, he would never have even sniffed the NHL. This is not a case of expecting too much of someone - he is just a lousy hockey player.

Why does Marner always try that bump back to nobody. It wasn't worked once this series, Tampa has it covered every time.

Mike didn't put a link on the front page. Clearly he only comes here once a day.

That's what I am worried about. Bolts need to win 2 in a row.

Totally, not blaming Holl on that one, though some people here are because he is the current whipping boy. Muzzin and Rielly's errors were much more glaring and lead directly to Lightning goals.

Well actually Campbell passed it right to the Tampa player on the second goal.

Second goal was a bad bounce and Campbell wasn't ready for it. Could say the not ready part about a lot of guys tonight.

Goal 1 - Campbell has to get that but JT/Willie were slow to take Stamkos.

Goal 2 - Bad stick Muzzin ..bad stick Campbell

Goal 3 - Rielly bad pinch/coverage.

- The Law

Willie wasn’t even in on the ice for goal 1

I dunno, that's more of a reflex reaction to the puck going right to him when it should have been a simple play by Muzzin.
