Intent is tough to prove either way, player history and circumstances sometimes determine best guesses. When Kypreos fell on Fuhr years ago, it looked rather intentional to me, but it's not science.
Saying we shouldn't hold Holl to a higher standard because he's a tweener who could be the 7th D doesn't add up, 7th D don't get paid two million a year.
He's consistently either on his ass, making a mistake, or out of position. Liljegren is better in those areas, he's even better at handling the physicality than Holl because he's not on his ass. He's the safer play. That's all anyone is saying.
But criticizing the play of anyone wearing blue and white right now is a cardinal sin for some, how dare anyone wish they played the player who makes less mistakes in a playoff game. And yet the word bias gets flung around like it's oxygen. 🤷🏻‍♂️ - joel878
I think it adds up just fine. You can't expect all defensemen to be equally good. You can't hold Holl to the same standard as Brodie or Muzzin. Bringing his pay into it is also kind of irrelevant. Unless you want to female dog that Dubas can't win with a team paying overpaying Holl by 600k, then go nuts.
He's a a 6/7 D on this team and plays like one. I prefer Lily in the lineup too, but swapping them out sometimes is fine, because whether you see it or not, Leafs brass see value in Holl playing.

Two Canadians die and end up in Hell. Satan decides to pay them a visit, so he walks into their room and sees them talking and laughing. Confused, he asks them why they're happy.
They tell him, "Well, we're so sick of the cold where we're from, and this place is nice and toasty."
Satan, annoyed, storms away and goes to Hell's boiler room, where he turns up the temperature.
He goes back to the Canadians' room, along the way being begged by all sorts of people to put the heating back down. He enters the room to see the Canadians having a barbecue. Furiously, he asks them what they're doing.
"Well, we can't pass up this wonderful weather without getting out the barbecue!"

I don't think anyone expects him to be on the same level as Muzzin or Brodie, they expect him to either stop making poor careless decisions which are costly or not play.
If anything the expectation is that HE stop thinking he's Brodie or Muzzin, because he's not.

Keefe likes him and Lil.
The margins are thin on both players so who cares.
I like Lil better than Holl but the margins are so thin that it really does not matter. All comes down to Keefe's gameplan and I have no part in it so he can choose his 6th D and I really wont care.
I think Lil is faster and might of been able to handle the last hooking call/take down quicker then Holl. Holl is bigger but havnt seen much to think hes better then Lil.
On another note for those who think JT is poop,dont forget they might not be where they are now if it wasnt for JT..He does other things that help and i havnt seen Stamkos lighting it up.

People being like : Carolina is a powerhouse. Bruins will be lucky not to get swept.
Me being like : Picking Bruins in my bracket because I was suspect of Andersen and their goaltending in general. Even if Andersen was healthy, I was not confident in him based on his Leafs years in the postseason.
Being a Bolts loyalist, I had to pick them in my bracket, so hopefully tonight doesn't blow it. Friggin Bruins are doing their part, but now my Bolts are letting me down.

I agree that Putin is a war criminal and a homicidal maniac, but I'm not totally convinced that there wasn't a sliver of just cause over in Ukraine. The people of Ukraine are being made to suffer, due to corruption in their Government and Western Governments who've used Ukraine as a major money-laundering entity. Add to that, the Obama Administration setting up a number of bio-weapons facilities in Ukraine, in 2014. Many of the World Economic Forum membership have been profiting on the conflict and actually promoted it. It's sickening, because the rich and powerful use people as fodder to promote war and the spoils that come with it. I have no use for the WEF, The EU and North American governments that allow this to go on. A Pox on all of their houses. The WEF is the enemy of all free, peace loving people. - PrinceLH
