A lot of series are tied at 2 games a piece.. Leafs should be fine, I hope.. They do need a strong performance and a win tomorrow night.. Game 5 is a must win game
- PatC80

Not a must win but it would greatly increase their chances of winning the series.

You'd think they will come out with fire at home, we will see.

Agreed... A win in game 5 and we're back in the drivers seat. .

Oilers, Wild and Canes are all tied at 2, I don't think are jumping off any 'ledges'

- PatC80

exactly, series going to 6 or 7 games have momentum shift, it's normal. It's not like the series is 3-1 Tampa (or 3-1 Leafs for that matter)

Oilers won 8-2 and then lost 4-0...The NHL is just a ridiculous jumbled mess of coin flips.

"Continually" means 2 of 4 games does it? That's not how I would define the word but if you want to see it that way fill your boots.

And we won't be hearing lots about it from you though right? I just figure that's the case because you are only "mildly interested" in game 5.

- Cush29

Continually...as in year after year some of to the same issues still persist. No shows. But as I said the leafs can change that if they win the next 2 out of 3.

I'll be interested in the game....just not crazy invested in the outcome. I had tampa winning the series. But if the ol'Leafers win then awesome. They will finally be over the hump and will have made a great step towards changing the narrative about the team.

As people have pointed out. Tampa is unbeaten in the last (18? now?) games after a loss. The Leafs smartly managed to get home advantage to give that guarantee away from them for game 7

Definitely. They need a strong game 5 performance.. They can get to Vasilevskiy..

after 4 games, they've scored 16 goals.. Just need to keep it going and don't take so many dumb penalties

Cirelli line will have significantly less looks at AM34/Marner. Also, Hedman/Cernak who have stood tall (cuz they are, uhh, tall).

I have reached full Zen when it comes to the Leafs. Hope they win but it was very easy to turn the game off and watch some shows and play with the cats last night. I’m pretty (frank)ing mature

The leafs and Tampa have also traded wins losses through the entire regular season. Keep that pattern alive and we win in 7.

Agreed, gotta win game 5....specially after that beating.
Dont wanna to have to beat tampa 2 games in row.
Games 5, 6, 7(if required), will really show what this team is made of.
Hoping its good stuff
