Hate to be this way but,

For this post.
Trading eichel alone for tuch Krebs and the 16th pick is a passing grade on the most important exam.
Who care about mccabe.
Won the risto trade
Got what he could for sam , which isnt great
Picking 9th not top 3
That's passing with flying colors - Boss34
I agree. And looking at the hall trade I say he did good there. Hall is washed

You mean the 1st year when the Pegulas burned down the house and left him naked in the street alone.

The Healthy Scratch another entity owned by the Pegulas is closing.
I didnt even know what that was.
Apparently it was a restaurant? - ImThatGuy
part of the reason why it's closing is the impression from this post.
Just like everything else Pegula, they can't market to save their (frank)ing lives. |

Blame that poop on the Pegulas.
The answer was in my post on the 1st line.
Forgot that he fired Krueger as well...A+++++ - IonSabres
You're comfortable with that? Blame the coach, blame the owner. Guy in the middle isn't responsible for the terrible moves made under his name? |

KA hasn't made any terrible moves. Getting a 1st for each of Risto, Reinhart, ECHL, plus two roster players and two prospects does not = terrible.
It's your opinion of the trades that is terrible. |

My higher expectations start this summer. Want to see if that hockey department is growing with the team. You can stay the course while also helping your team improve. Sabres have the Capital to do that. Enough of this Mickey Mouse Bullsh!t. They have the capital to still grow the organization draft wise, Donnie and Co. can still develop and grow the youngins and they have the pieces to add a few key additions that could make us better. Time to go to work!! Sorry rant over. - Buff36
So, lay it out.
What constitutes success... what moves do they need to make.
Who on the roster, and what picks Prospects are you willing to expend?
I've said a 1G, 2RhD and 3LhD are my targets.
I'd be willing to trade some combination of the following for the G if Helleybuck is available
-'22-16th (VGK)
-'22 -2nds
-Bryson
-Mitts if necessary, but would rather retain.
-Asplund, but would rather insert Girgs
-Joker if it is for a very good 2RhD, back fill 3RhD via UFA
The 3LhD is a UFA target.

Could you always go better? Sure, but I don’t mind any move he made. He hasn’t did a blunder like an Okposo or moulson contract, or trading Oreilly when we were trying to build a team or drafted a mitts (yet).
I like the direction we are going, are super young, have three 1sts this year and tons of cap space. He’s in a great position right now. Just make good moves from here on out |

Nah bro, he killed it on the Risto trade, yes, but he got equally as killed on the Reinhart and Eichel deals. So, at best, he's -1. He almost certainly low balled the college kids seeing what Power's deal is. |

Yes, as it reflects what actually happened.
Year 1 Summary.
Jason is in, oh wait, we fired his ass and appointed Adams... his first action was a directive from us to fire the entirety of his staff. Kimmie will help with the negotiations and Ralph will spearhead the targeting of Players. We good...
Well signing Taylor Hall means we are all in for a cup run.
Jesus himself couldn't dig out of that mess in 1 year...but let's hang him cause you know, he had the Title.
He got his Balls back when the Pegula's let him fire Ralph.
IMO, from that point forward he had control of the team versus GM in name only. |

Think I have said what I would like
G- DK is my preference
2RD- And Vegas's pick should not be out if it's the right deal
Middle 6Winger- Lawson Crouse would be nice
Think that is attainable without destroying your future |

I'd say given the results so far, we're ahead. Reinhart had a career year and saved the Panthers last night. That one stings. ECHL sucked and didn't show up when the Knights needed him most and just got called an elite power play player by a team mate - that's a pretty back-handed compliment.
Ristolainen was terrible and got signed to an even worse contract than we could have imagined. We also got a pick for Hagg.
Oh, and Tuch was very good for us and Krebs is currently in Rochester getting some good playoff experience. He still has a lot of room to grow. And Levi is the top college goalie prospect.
I'd say we're ahead. |

It's dismissing his performance because he wasn't a real GM, which might be even more insulting to him.

I'd be ok with that, add a rough and capable 3LhD for 10-12 ATOI. |

How did he get owned on the Eichel trade?
tuch, value of a 1st
Krebs, again, value of a 1st
a first
And a 2nd
What more were you expecting beyond that? |

I don't get it really. I think that we got a great return for Eichel and Risto and could have gotten a little more for Reinhart but a combination of three 1sts, two Roster players, two prospects is nothing to sneeze at. |

it's too bad the market was so poor for Buch and Sam. Astounding, really.
Glad we ended up with a 1st and an elite goalie prospect instead of a 2nd and a 4th liner. |
